Our Story

Scott started Darlington Mediaworks in 2002, formalizing a video business that had been underway for several years. Starting with amateur music recitals in stereo and surround sound recording, Scott then took Darlington Mediaworks to the One Lap of America for two years in 2004 and 2005. Work with Targa Newfoundland began in 2004 and a formal partnership followed as Official Videographer of the event from 2005 through 2007, producing Team DVDs as well as the Party Tape at the celebration dinner at the end of the event. This was followed by some corporate video work which led to the current focus on social documentaries. Scott has also done freelance work in Ottawa.

Garth is a superb photographer who started working with Darlington Mediaworks in 2004 with our first trip to Targa Newfoundland. We collaborated on each Targa Newfoundland event after that until our last one in 2007. He’s been published frequently in the Ottawa Citizen newspaper and has worked for numerous corporate and individual clients in Ottawa.
